Are there even tribes in Africa?

Basically we’ve all been lied to.

Sounds harsh but it’s the truth. Do you guys even know the origin of the word tribe.

The word tribe has its roots in the Latin word “tribus” which originally referred to one of the three political divisions of the Roman people. Ramnes , Tities and Luceres.

The concept of tribes in Ancient Rome evolved over time , and the term came to be used more broadly to refer to various ethnic or social groups outside Rome itself.

So low the bs , African “tribes” are actually nations. Tribe promotes misleading stereotypes and even carries cultural assumptions. Words like tribe and tribal implies savagery.

If you’re from an ethnic group in Africa you’re from a nation.
